There are times when redirects occur naturally and purposefully. For example, when a 404 redirect occurs. There are other examples too like member login. Is there some way to style the page page that comes up between?

The reason I ask is that for sites with darker backgrounds, there is a flash of a white background between the two pages that is somewhat unsettling. The EE site itself does it. I’d like to avoid it if possible.

    Thanks!

    Hi cbad,

This question comes up quite often! These interim messages and redirects are stored in Design->Message Pages->User Messages

If you go that route, it works best to use in-line CSS. However, there are several add-ons that make this process less onerous. Check out Custom System Messages.

Thanks Dan! I found the user messages today, but didn’t know about Custom System Messages. It looks like it’s well worth the price to save a bunch of trouble!
