I’m all of a sudden having all sorts of problems staying logged into my control panel. It doesn’t matter what browser or machine I’m using. I’ve run into the same problem on my wireless network and 3G. After logging in, I am redirected to the login page within 1-3 clicks. I haven’t made any configuration changes on my end and my host (engine hosting) assures me that no server side changes have been made either. The site is currently running on build 1.6.8. What am I missing?

Switching my config file from
$conf['admin_session_type'] = "s";to
$conf['admin_session_type'] = "c";did the trick. Still not sure why this was necessary after months (years?) of working correctly before.

That is really odd, unless there were changes made to your webserver?
