Javascript not working in control panel after upgrade from 2.3.1 to 2.4

    Multiple browsers from multiple people’s machines, so it’s not some weird client side thing.  URLs don’t autocomplete + optional sections don’t open in publish, and accessories don’t open in the general control panel, and tabs don’t open in publish.  jQuery is being called when I view source. I’m using a custom theme (nerdery) but tried both corporate and default with the same behaviour.

    Modules installed: Playa, Datagrab, and SEO Lite (all updated to current versions). I also have Textile and TEH installed, and a lot of the P&T Fieldtypes. Using MSM, updated to latest version,

    I had exactly the same problem.

    I tried reinstalling multiple times without success.

    It is probably linked to the URL being incorrect here:

    General Configuration ยป Theme Folder Path

    This thread has a similar issue.

    Hello erutan,

    I am sorry to hear you are running into this problem.

    Tom is on the right track with that diagnosis. Can you double check your theme folder path as well as make sure the folder uploaded correctly (all files are there) and that the permissions on the directory are correct.

    I think this will get you back in business.

    Changing the control panel path and re-uploading the theme directory fixed it.
