We are getting 404s in several cases where we append get parameters to our URLs to add source info.
Here are some formats that are causing 404s:
http://www.ourdomain.com/?hoo=hah
http://www.ourdomain.com/?hoo=hah&hah=hoo
http://www.ourdomain.com/index.php?hoo=hah
http://www.ourdomain.com/index.php?hoo=hah&hah=hoo
http://www.ourdomain.com/actual/page/?hah=hoo
http://www.ourdomain.com/actual/page/?hah=hoo&hah=hah
http://www.ourdomain.com/actual/page?hah=hoo
http://www.ourdomain.com/actual/page?hah=hoo&hah=hah
Oddly enough, though, this works:
http://www.ourdomain.com/realpage?source=hoo&hah=hah
This, however, does not:
http://www.ourdomain.com/realpage?source=hoo
Even the built-in EE links don’t work - for example, the link from within the EE control panel to view our homepage doesn’t work - http://www.ourdomain.com/?URL=http://www.ourdomain.com/ results in a 404. This has been the case with our EE install for as long as I can remember. This leads me to believe that the resolution is a configuration directive, not a .htaccess change.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!
