I upgraded an install to 2.4 today and everything went smoothly. There is one oddity that I noticed. I now have an upload box at the bottom left of every entry page? See attached image.
Anyone else run into this?

I am sorry to hear you are running into this snag.
Are you running any add-ons that change the presentation/layout/CSS of the Control Panel?
It could be that the add-on is not yet ready for 2.4.
