Problem with files upload

I’ve created a directory with all file types allowed, I’ve tried to upload .zip and .gz without problems. But when I try to upload a file with .STEP extension (is a cad file), EE refuse it with the message: “The file type you are attempting to upload is not allowed.”

I’ve tried with normal account and with admin account with the same result, I’m using EE 2.3.1.

Ok… RTFM 😊

Solved with the line:
```
'step'  =>      'application/STEP',
```
added to file system/expressionengine/config/mimes.php
