    Hi,

Whenever I attempt to add script or form html tags into a entry via the wysiwyg the entry will throw the following error message :

"Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data" error message.

The server logs show the following error message :

[Mon Feb 06 10:51:49 2012] [error] [client myipaddress] FastCGI: comm with (dynamic) server "/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mydomain.org.uk/cgi-bin/php5fcgi.fcgi" aborted: (first read) idle timeout (60 sec), referer: <a href="http://mydomain.org.uk/cpanel/index.php?S=a32f1e05d3e3f817ebe0bd2f8cd459ef628e8337&C=edit&M=edit_entry&weblog_id=11&entry_id=153">http://mydomain.org.uk/cpanel/index.php?S=a32f1e05d3e3f817ebe0bd2f8cd459ef628e8337&C=edit&M=edit_entry&weblog_id=11&entry_id=153</a>
[Mon Feb 06 10:51:49 2012] [error] [client myipaddress] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/mydomain.org.uk/cgi-bin/php5fcgi.fcgi", referer: <a href="http://mydomain.org.uk/cpanel/index.php?S=a32f1e05d3e3f817ebe0bd2f8cd459ef628e8337&C=edit&M=edit_entry&weblog_id=11&entry_id=153">http://mydomain.org.uk/cpanel/index.php?S=a32f1e05d3e3f817ebe0bd2f8cd459ef628e8337&C=edit&M=edit_entry&weblog_id=11&entry_id=153</a>

To confirm, the .htaccess file is set to ‘SecFilterEngine Off’, so posting code via the wysiwyg should be fine.

I’ve contacted my host who’ve washed their hands of the issue stating it’s a CMS related problem.

Any ideas as to how to remedy this?

    Thanks
    Peter.

    Hi Peter,

What WYSYWIG field are you using? If you post any other content to the field, do you receive the same error?
I did a google search for the error and it seems to be related to Chrome. Are you using Chrome when you receive this error?

    Cheers!
