Is out here a specific ee2.4 french language pack ?

Hi Andrei,

It looks like the last time the French Language Pack was certified was for the 2.2.1 release. There have been enough changes made since that release that it is likely not to work properly.

You might contact the developer of the pack and enquire if they have an update ready for 2.4.

Thanks for bringing some information, i’ll take a look to the other ee around, if one of my clients are still on the 2.2.1 it could be a good starting point.

That’s no doc/news/tweets about the pack on the official dev website, i’ll try on Facebook or good old emails.

Is that possible to “fork” somewhere the 2.2.1 language pack and bringing the needed updates myself ?
I’m in love with {ee} since my first projects on the 1.6.8 version, so it could be a real pleasure.

I have a few client projects to come (all in french, due to my location) so that’s a *must have*.

I’m not sure about what licensing, if any, is on the langauge pack so it would be best to contact the developer about that before releasing it into the wild.

So far, we’re going with the french files for EE 2.2.1, with some “home made” changes if needed.

Thanks for posting back. If you are able to maintain the french pack you might consider asking the developer if they’re okay with you taking over.
