Is there any way to alter the X-PHP-Script variable shown in mail headers? Specifically, it shows the path to the admin which I have changed. So when I send mails to the mailinglists using that module, the header is:

    X-PHP-Script: <a href="http://www.parlamentet.dk/XXX.php">http://www.parlamentet.dk/XXX.php</a> for X.X.X.X

    Hi huulbaek,

That is certainly undesirable! There is no means to edit the header information in the Control Panel. I am going to escalate this due to the obvious privacy concerns. In the meantime, please submit a Feature Request as well.

    Cheers!

    Hi huulbaek,

It looks like this is the result of a security feature enabled by CPanel. See this thread for information on how to switch this off if that’s what you’d like to do.

Hope this helps! Let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you.

Yes, but I don’t have access to change this serverwide and I doubt many have. Wouldn’t it be possible to just let another script do the mailing instead of the hidden admin script?

    Hi huulbaek,

That may indeed be possible in the future but isn’t a supported feature in ExpressionEngine right now. I invite you again to make a Feature Request if you haven’t already done so.

In the meantime, you might get in contact with your hosting provider about what’s possible with your account and ways you can mask this.

    Cheers!
