I can’t seem to find if this is possible or if there is way to do it…
I would like to create several dynamic pages that have the control panel layout and menu.
I know I can create a template that restricts access to CP folks.. but I would love it to blend in with the rest of the CP.
Even better would be to replace the “CP Home” screen with a template of my own.
Anyone have suggestions on how to go about this?

What you’re asking is currently not an option.
Only one I can think of is to go the safecracker route http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/modules/safecracker/index.html
that way you can layout your entry forms the way you see fit. A lot of work though.

Don’t need forms.. just a page where I can pull info from the db.
I found dashEE and it seems to be a good enough work around for the moment.
