Looking for some advice here…
We need an area where users in a specific group can access content for a specific period of time.
Ideally, users would be able to register themselves and then be added to this specific-access membership group which would be different from our “regular member” group, and after a specified period of time, their access would be removed.
My idea was to create an MSM area on our current site that would place users in this new access group, and then manually change them to our “regular member” group after their time had expired.
Will this approach work, is it the best approach, and do you know of a better way to do this? (I’m not too crazy about the manual group change part.)
