This question may be related to a resolved thread.

I have a very similar question to the related thread, but with Matrix fields, not using the {field:field_name} method (manual text inputs with the [col_id_XX]). It seems the way to have Matrix data in an edit form is to use {weblog:channel:entries}, but what about when you return a page with inline errors? I do have a Matrix field using {field:field_name} and that maintains submitted data, so I’m hopeful there is a way.

    Thanks!

    Hi struiling,

With this being an issue specifically with Matrix, I’d recommend posing your question to Pixel & Tonic‘s support team. They’ll be the ones best able to help you solve this.

Is there anything else I can help you with?

Ah, well that makes sense. That’s all, thanks.
