    Hi!

My client has a site that is running v 1.6.7. The site is working fine, but after we log into the control panel (her login or mine), we get the following error:

Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /home/p14tnvll/public_html/louise/db/db.mysql.php on line 342

The above repeats numerous times, then the following line appears:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/p14tnvll/public_html/louise/db/db.mysql.php:342) in /home/p14tnvll/public_html/louise/core/core.functions.php on line 726

Then the first error appears numerous times again, and then if you scroll all the way to the bottom the EE controls appear, and they seem to function.

So no emergency, everything works, but I’d like to correct whatever needs to be corrected so these errors don’t occur. I already did a database repair in MySql and it didn’t help.

    Thanks

    Jackie

    Hi jacklalley,

That sounds like a warning from PHP itself. Has the host for this site updated PHP recently? I recommend you update the installation to EE 1.7.1, as it has been vetted to work with newer version of PHP.

    Cheers!
