Hi All,
I know this question has been asked numerous times—but I didn’t see any case regarding doing this via htaccess.
I wrote this rule:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/products/(?!category/) [NC]
RewriteRule ^/products/(.*) /products/category/$1 [QSA,L]
For some reason it’s not working though… hoping to get a little input as to why.. I’m 99% sure my rewrite is correct

Out of curiosity, why are you attempting to remove it with .htaccess? Why not solve the problem by not creating links to the correct URL in the first place?

I’m sorry, we aren’t set up to support .htaccess directives other than the ones used in the Officially Supported method. Since you’ve got a discussion going here, I’m going to move this into Community Help.
