I have a site that, all of a sudden, does not display images or css in the control panel. It had not been touched in several days before this.

It was running 1.6.9. I upgraded it to 1.7.1 hoping it would fix it, but it did not.

There is another problem, in the public side of the site, no images linked through EE are being displayed correctly. (As apposed to hard coded in the css.) The paths are missing. I think this is because the ngen field type is not being recognized. You can see at http://www.pensacolasaenger.com.

Can you give me even a direction to try.

    Thanks

This is usually because the path in Admin -> System Preferences -> General Configuration -> URL to your “themes” folder and Theme Folder Path are incorrect. Can you double check those values?

I checked that. After your post, I retyped the path and updated. That fixed it. Must have been the stray cosmic ray. Thanks.
