On the Options Tab in EE you can choose the author to publish an article under. The link here shows the page: http://expressionengine.com/legacy_docs/cp/publish/index.html#tab_options
For SuperAdmins I want this option available through the front end on the Stand Alone Entry Form.
How do I code this in?

Hey Narthex,
I do not believe this functionality is available by means of a Stand Alone Entry Form. Is there a reason why having them do this via the Control Panel is not possible?

Just a pain. Most of the time it is more efficient to post through the front end SAEF than to go wading through the back end. It would be nice to be able to add an option on the SAEF for superadmins to choose the author…

I’d suggest making a feature request, but since ExpressionEngine 1 is no longer being actively developed, that suggestion won’t work 😉
I did some searching and found this thread, where someone was trying to do something similar. Rob Sanchez, one of the developers behind the SafeCracker add-on (which is included as part of ExpressionEngine 2, and replaces the SAEF module), posted a solution for getting this functionality to work. So, it appears there is a method for getting this to work in ExpressionEngine 2, just not ExpressionEngine 1.
