Hello,
How can I generate the thumbnails for files uploaded with FTP for the safecracker file fieldtype? Now in my entries I get the broken image thumb. There is a folder _thumbs writable (777) but it doens’t contain all the thumbs.

Hi w84me,
I don’t think that is possible. The only way to get the thumbs is to upload using the file manager in the CP. Otherwise you have to create the thumbs your self and upload them via FTP.

Hi w84me,
Either uploading through the File Manager in the CP or uploading by FTP and syncing your Upload Directory should create the image’s thumbnails. I’m not quite sure what you mean by “files uploaded with FTP for the safecracker file fieldtype” though. Could you clarify for me?
