On the main page of the forum we have a link to “View Pending Posts”. How are the pending posts defined?

What is the difference between the anonymous users and guests?

I set-up a private discussion board (version 3.1.5) and while I am logged in and in visitor statistics my username appears as an active members, the number of total logged-in users shows 0. Would that be a bug?

Hi Gabriela,

First, I would like to ask how your multi-lingual search issue is going? Were you able to update ExpressionEngine and resolve that?

With this, I did a quick test using ExpressionEngine 2.3.1 and Discussion Forum 3.1.6 and my user shows in the active members list and the “Total Logged-in Users” metric shows “1”, as expected.

What version of ExpressionEngine are you using with Discussion Forum 3.1.5? Would it be possible to update your Forum to 3.1.6?

Hi Dan,

Unfortunately the client doesn’t want to upgrade yet - they preferred to disable the spellchecker for now (the search works fine).

Thank you for checking the active member stats. This is the same client and I already told them they need to upgrade - we will probably end up removing the stats.

Van you shed some light with this questions?

A pending post is one that hasn’t received any replies yet.

Thank you Sean. I actually thought about that but I have a lot more posts without replies than the ones shown in the “pending posts” list - probably again upgrading to the latest version will fix that.
