Using EE 2.3.0, in the edit channel entries, when I click on the table head, the table will be sorted by the selected column, but if I click on author or channel column, this sorting doesn’t work…

I have replicated this issue and have filed a bug report on your behalf. I encourage you to leave a comment there in order to follow the report.
