I’m looking to create a site in Bengali and English. The content would be uploaded in both languages and there would be the option on to view the site in either language. I don’t see Bengali as a choice in the language packs. Do you know if this is in development? Or if I need these packages to run the site in both languages and with both types of alphabets.

Hi ryestew,
The language packs are to translate the control panel of ExpressionEngine and are not used to run the front end of your site. There are several approaches to building a multi-lingual web site and you’ll need to choose the best approach for you - Wiki article, MultiLingual Websites in ExpressionEngine, also check out the EE Podcast on Multi Language sites and their episode links.
