    I just installed
Multiple Site Manager Version: 2.1.1 - Build: 20111011 and enabled.
I am running EE version: 2.1.0 Build 20111017

I get blank pages when I click on Edit Sites and any other link MSM related.  Are these two not compatible with each other or am I doing something wrong?

MSM webpage says requirements are EE 2.0 or later.

    Thanks,
    Rich

    Hi Rich,

I don’t believe those two versions were meant to be used together. Could you please download the latest versions and try those, this being a new installation and all?

The current EE version is 2.3.1 and MSM is 2.1.1.

Does that take care of things?

It’s not a new installation, it’s an established site.  Is the only solution to upgrade to the latest EE?

This is a heavily trafficked website and I don’t want to bring it down to do an upgrade if I can avoid it.

If the two versions are not compatible, you should remove the part in the MSM requirements that says it works with EE 2.X.  It obviously does not.

I just bit the bullet and upgraded to 2.3.  Looks like it works now.

The MSM requirements should be updated to say the specific EE2 versions it’s compatible with instead of just 2.X.

Glad you got it working again. This is a very good point, and I’ll make sure we update both the expansion information page as well as our User Guide. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Rich!
