    Greetings,
I am using ExpressionEngine 1.x Personal License
    Current Version: 1.7.1 - Build: 20110520

    Additionally I am using MSM:
EE 2 Multiple Site Manager Non-Commercial License
    Total Available Sites:  4
    Current Version: 2.1.1 - Build: 20111011

I have a main EE Site, and I have set up 3 of the 4 MSM sites that I require.  Initially, I created a test MSM site.  After my round of testing, I deleted the site.  Now, I am not able to create a fourth MSM site, even though I have 4 licenses.  Under the CP>SITES, I no longer have the option to Create a New Site.

I took a peek in the exp_sites table, and I have 4 sites in the table: site 1, 2, 3… and 5 (apparently, site #4 was the test site that I deleted).

My understanding is that, along with my primary site, I should be able to create 4 additional MSM sites (1 for each license that I purchased).  Is the problem due to the fact that I deleted the test site, and EE thinks that I already have 4 MSM sites?  If so, is there a way to clear the fourth ‘test’ site so that I can use this license?

Or, is it because my primary site counts as one of the MSM sites, and I need to purchase another license?

    Any direction is appreciated.

    Thank you,
    UMStratcomm

Hi, UMstratcomm. When you purchase the original MSM license, you get your initial site and two more for a total of three. If you purchased one more MSM license, you’ll have 4 total.

    Does that help?

Ok, so the original site license is counted towards the MSM license.  That clarifies it, thank you.
