    Hello all,

    I have searched this forum and tried almost all things that has been written.

    - EE version: 2.3.1
    Not able to test a EE update while I already use the latest version. (Or could I fake, trick this?)

    - PHP version: 5.3.6

    - I moved my website and followed the steps mentioned in the user guide.
    From both servers the paths to the files are identical.

    - I checked and double checked the folder and file settings.
    Cache files from the old server are still there. As mentioned in the user guide, delete after login?

    - I also added to the config file:
    $config[‘admin_session_type’] = “c”;
    $config[‘require_ip_for_login’] = “n”;
    $config[‘secure_forms’] = “n”;

    - Did clear cookies and browser cache.
    Tried Safari 5.1.1 and Firefox 7.01

    - Needed to reset my password at the cp section, did that (worked, got the mail and the reset link, that worked)

    - Website looks normal.
    Is offline but viewable trough devdemon Smart Switch.

    But when I press login, I never get in.

    Who could help me?

    Kind regards,
    Martijn

    Hmm so I have to find the solution myself?

    This question really should be in the official help forum. Presumably you moved the database too?

    Gfive(tm),

    How are you logging into your control panel? via domain.com/system/ or domain.com/admin.php? if you are going via admin.php could you open it up in your text editor and look around line 43 and uncommment that line (remove the 2 // at the beginning) and put in the url to your cp?

    it looks like

    $assign_to_config['cp_url'] = 'http://domain2.com/admin.php';

    please let us know know how it goes after trying that.

    Gfive(tm),

    Was this for a new install of EE or an update? Could you double check that the themes folder is the latest version by re-uploading it?

    this was a move. (website to new server)
    I will re upload it now to be sure…

    re-uploaded themes folder from 2.3.1
    works great in safari, opera and chrome.

    But after opening other websites I think it’s firefox that’s giving these errors. Not EE.
    I will digg into this a bit more…

    it’s Firefox 7.0.1 with developer add-on (1.1.9) that’s not working as should be.
