    I can’t seem to find the template location to add a

    <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex, nofollow”>

    tag to so that my client’s discussion forums do not turn up in Google searches.

    I’ve modified the robots.txt file and added /forums/ and /index.php/forums/ to the Disallow section, but I want to generate the nofollow/noindex meta tag on every forum page as the client is very concerned about privacy.

    I’m sure this is a simple one. Rummaged around the templates inside >Modules>Discussion Forums and, like I said, couldn’t seem to find much beyond snippets.

    TIA.

    Hi dashard,

    If you take a look at the themes > forum_themes > default > forum_global > meta_tags.html file then I’m fairly certain that anything you add there should hopefully be added to every forum page.

    Thanks,

    Mark
