We have a Magento site that uses ExpressionEngine to manage our comunity items such as forums. We are experiencing post failures to our forums and it is returning an error message:
    Error
This page can’t be displayed. Contact support for additional information.
    The incident ID is: 2317236595495866646.

What use is the incident ID? Is it a log somewhere that I can reference from the backside to troubleshoot the error? None of the web developers here know.

Hi netjess, welcome to the forums

I’ve never seen anything like that in EE, I reckon it something server side - have you asked the web host?

The issue turned out to me caused by a firewall at the hosting site but the error message had to have been generated by EE. I guess it may have been generated by Magento but I don’t think they are integrated like that.
We have the forum posts working now but I would like to know what good that incident ID is if it doesn’t reference anything that can be looked up and reviewed by a support tech.
