    Hello,

    I’m using ee v2.3.0 - Build: date 20111011
I can’t seem to login to the control panel using safari 5.1.1 mac os.  There’s no problem with firefox.  In searching the forum this problem seems to have been encountered before but not fix. see http://ellislab.com/forums/viewthread/185173/

Previous versions allowed me to log into the control panel using safari without problems.

    Any ideas?

    Hi BrianPx,

Did you try any of the information in that thread that you linked to above?

If not then could you try the advice that Greg gives there please.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Yes, I tried those suggestions.  Had they worked I would not have posted to this forum.  It’s unclear what to do next.

Are you also using the MSM?

No multisite manager.  It odd because when I try to log in it seems to accept my password but then shows me the login screen.  If I intentionally put in a wrong password it will tell me.

    Hi BrianPx,

Is there anyway we would be able to gain access to the site? If so, be on the look out for an email from me.

    Cheers,

Thank you to Jae Barclay of http://www.ejaedesign.com/ who explained the simple solution to me:

On your computer reset the network clock. Interestingly this problem has been reported in Chrome as well (both use webkit).

Not sure why this worked but it worked.
