OK I’m stuck! I have a few members who are contributing articles to channels. As super admin, my status default is open for posts (I also use metaweblog api to autopost from Posterous into one channel no problem), but I can’t figure out how to set the status to open as default for my member group - where is it set?

    Hi, boshell.

Double check that you set a status group for your channel. If you didn’t, then anyone other than SuperAdmins won’t be able to set anything to open.

    Does that help?

Ahh, yes I see under ‘Edit Group Assignments’ you can set Status group to ‘Statuses’ or ‘None’. Ive set all channels to ‘Statuses’, so hopefully that should do it. Thanks!
