Hi,
I went through the updates from 1.64 to 1.71 - all seemed to go OK, as of 3am (when I finally passed out) I was getting a blank screen for the control panel and website.  Checked all permissions, checked DB, etc…

Two Questions:

Now that I went through the Update process will the following work:

1. Backup DB, Delete all EE files and load a new version of 1.71, then drop all Tables and load my DB backup?
My DB now has 85 tables much more than it had at 1.64 so I am assuming I can load it for 1.71.

Or

2.  Do you have downloads of old version of EE, specifically 1.64 so I can start there and update again?

Wiped EE, did clean install of 1.71. Still get blank screen when accessing Control Panel.

Note: This server had 1.64 running fine before I started this (tried to upgrade).

Ran the ee_wizard - popped right up.

Really need a suggestion here - site has been down now for nearly 24 hours…

After 24 hours, I got this working.

Glad you are up and running again. What was the issue in the end did you find out?
