I upgraded a clients site to 2.2.2 last week, everything seemed to go fine but now the client doesn’t have access to the ‘browse server’ button when trying to upload a file (to upload a PDF from their desktop for example). I have the button when logged in as ‘Super Admin’ but it seems to have disappeared as an option under my clients member account. I can’t see where this could be switched back on?

I’ve included 2 images, mine with the ‘browse server’ button visible and what the client is seeing.

    Hi Deeper,

just wondering if you have given access in Control Panel Access to the File Manager.

    This can be found in:

    Deeper,

Have you had a chance to verify the group’s permissions to File Manager per Richard’s suggestions?

    Cheers,

‘Can access CONTENT: File Manager’ is set to ‘Yes’, but I’m not seeing ‘browse server button’.

    Any other ideas?

Hi, Deeper. Are you using some sort of a WYSIWYG editor? If so, what exactly?

Wygwam is being used on the site

That’s what I thought. When it comes to troubleshooting issues with third party add-ons, you may need to contact the author for support.

But if you use a regular textarea field (taking Wygwam out of the equation) can you upload files?
