Hello,

Running EE 2.1.3, and I’m able to create new channels and see them listed right after as a Super Admin.

When I log in as a “contributor”, a member group I created so I know what my site editors get in their interface, I’m able to go through the new channel creation process, but when I click submit, it takes me back to the channel page but doesn’t display the new channel i just created.

When I logout and login as SuperAdmin, I’m able to see the new channel I created under my “contributor” account.  So I know that the channels are being created by my “contributor” account, but when logged in as “contributor”, I’m not able to see that new channel (and therefore edit some of its group assignment settings.

Can anyone sort out might be going on?  My editors are creating channels, but can’t access them after creating them and edit them accordingly.

Has you granted access for that member group to that Channel? See Member groups preferences for that member group.

Hi Robert,

What Rob (bluedreamer) points out is a valid path to check. When logged in as your Super Admin account, make sure the member group has access the channels created. Navigate to Members-> Member Groups: Edit Group for your Contributors group.
