I first thought that my image was in CMYK mode and maybe that was why every time I upload an image EE turns it to same kind of grayscale.
Plese check
Why could this be?

Not likely. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something easy like having CE Image or something installed that would take this discussion into a different direction.
Does it happen with all images? Just some? All file formats? jpg? gif?
Are you experiencing the issue or is this a client that is experiencing it?

I’m not using CE Image, but I was thinking on doing that because i have not figured out how to retrieve an image manipulation of a channel entry file upload. If that males sense. For example {exp:channel:entries channel="myChannel"}{photo_thumbnail}{/exp:channel:entries channel}
I have only tried with JPGs.
One thing I have notice is that I did not have this problem when I was working on my local server. Check for example the news section
http://croslandmaquinarias.com.pe/noticias/listado/
Only todays entry have this problem. Not the previous ones from june.
My site is hosted on Enginehost.
Maybe there is something related to moving the website from local to remote server or with the last upgrade.
Another thing that i have notice is that I can no longer upload files using the upload button on the File manager, only when uploading from a channel field.
The upload button on the File Manager is not working at all.

Hi, chiste.
Glad you figured out what the initial problem was.
As far as the inability to upload, see the following bug report which has a fix in it:
