    EE 2.2.2
    EngineHosting Account
    “Tag” is the only extension

Javascript works on the home control panel pages (all the rest as far as I can see) but breaks on the Publish Page!

I just updated from 2.2.1 to help fix this problem but it is still not working!

    Thanks!

    Hi, Jack.

Which browser are you looking at, and which control panel theme? Are you seeing an error, or what exactly?

    Hi Sue,

The Javascript for the drop down menus is not working. No dropdown menus. No error messages.

I am experiencing this on all browsers.

I googled it on here and read some of the replies but since I did in fact upgrade to 2.2.2 - I don’t know what is up. My themes folder is freshly uploaded.

ALso, I a switched the website over to Enginehosting, so there should be no weird server issue going on…

    Thanks Sue!

    Hi Jack,

As Sue mentioned above, could you let us know which control panel theme you are using on the site please.

If not the default theme then could you perhaps try that one and see if the problems persist.

Other than that, are you running any add-ons that might be interfering with the Publish page at all?

The fact that the drop-downs work on other pages in the CP (hopefully I read that right?) but not the Publish page is a little strange so let’s get you on the default theme first and ensure you don’t have any add-ons that might be affecting this first if that’s okay?

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

    I’m on default.

Only extension I am using is Tag…

Which now I have found to be the cause. Pages with Tag installed are affected.

I’m upgrading… let me get back to you guys!

    Hi Jack,

No problems. Just post back when you have any news, thanks. We’ll be here waiting.

As an aside you might want to try disabling the Tag module (if you are able to without losing any data - that or perhaps if there’s an extension disable that so it doesn’t affect the Publish page) and see if you still have the problems.

    Thanks,

    Mark
