    Hello,

Just a slight annoyance in the way my site works. Whenever I log in, instead of being redirected to site.com/members, I get redirected to site.com/S=2312432432432/members.

This in turn loads a 404 page rather than my members area. Its’ a bit annoying!

Is there a setting somewhere to turn this off? Or am I doing something wrong?

    Hello andrewjonesdev,

The “S=...” is the value of your session token. You are seeing that because in Admin-> Security and Privacy-> Security and Sessions the “User Session Type” is set to either “Sessions Only” or “Cookies and Sessions”. Change that drop down to reflect “Cookies Only” and you should see the “S=...” and the token value disappear form your URLs.

    Cheers,

    Hi Andrew,

Glad Dan was able to get you squared away there.

If anything else crops up then please don’t hesitate to post again as needed.

    Thanks,

    Mark
