    Hi,
can anybody please help.  I’ve had fantastic support so far from Max who developed MX google maps but assume he’s on holiday as had no response for my latest query and I’m at my wits end to find a solution.

I’m using a jquery range slider in the search for the “store locator”, I’m actually using the tool to search for Hotels and the range slider will set a price range so hotels can be sourced within a price range.

The slider works on utilising two form select boxes, one for the minimum value and one for maximum.  I’m using a range from 0 to 1000 with an iteration of 50.
I’ve set up two category groups “minimum” and “Maximum” and set up the categories within those groups with the iterations “0”, “50”, “100”, “150”....

...so in a channel entry I set a hotel to be in a minimum category of say 300 and maximum of 500.  The tricky part for me is getting MX google maps to find hotels within the range set.
If I set a range on the range tool to between 400 and 600 then I’d want the hotel with the previously mentioned setting to be within the results but (I haven’t tested it but would guess due to using it for a while now) the results would only respond if the range minimum was exactly on the minimum category setting (300) and range maximum was on the max setting (500).

any help with my conundrum is very much appreciated

I’m also looking to do a store locator.  Did you get it to work by any chance?

Unfortunately not, I had to scale things back and come up with an alternative solution.  The developer did get back to me but he’s busy finalising v2 which is due out any day so it may be resolved then.
