We updated to EE 2.2.2 build 20110801 the other day.  Since then, the file manager is not working.  By this I mean that when I try to view already uploaded images it displays none, and there is weird content in the file manager modal window in the channel posting area. I.e. where the pagination should be, it displays: pagination_filter_text pagination_count_text.

When I go to the file manager it displays what appears to be variable names for some of the buttons….

I’ve attached screenshots of both examples.  Please let me know what needs to be changed to fix this as this is a site that is supposed to launch on Tuesday.

    Thanks for your help!

Check your language files in system > expression_engine > languages

Rename the ‘english’ directory to ‘english_old’ and re-upload the whole new directory from the 2.2.2 download. I had a similar problem, and re-adding these files sorted it for me.

This worked for me, thanks for the heads up!

I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out now but if you do have any more problems then please don’t hesitate to post again as needed.
