    Hi,

    I’m not very familiar with CCS templates. I use the original version of CSS given with EE1 v.1.2. I’ve recently discover that my web site works perfectly with IE and Firefox, but have some display problems with Chrome and Safari. I’ve spent a lot of time before to make it working correctly…

    Is there any update or tricks to check? Is there another way to change the template when browsers are updated or new internet browsers comes in the market?

    Yves,

    ExpressionEngine will serve whatever CSS is in your templates. Updating the CSS to be compliant with modern browsers is not really a technical issue with EE, per se. Do you have any specific CSS questions I might be able to help with?

    Cheers,

    Yves,

    Let me move this thread to the Community Help forum first for you.

    I have a click look in Firefox but didn’t see anything out of the ordinary.

    can you be more specific with what you believe is broken?

    Under Firefox, everything is OK.
    I’ve attached pictures done with “Chrome”. The result is the same with “Safari”.

    I’ve also saw specific code under the CSS template for different browsers :

    pre {
    white-space: pre-wrap; /* css-3 */
    white-space: -moz-pre-wrap; /* Mozilla, since 1999 */
    white-space: -pre-wrap; /* Opera 4-6 */
    white-space: -o-pre-wrap; /* Opera 7 */
    word-wrap: break-word; /* Internet Explorer 5.5+ */
    }

    Perhaps need some update ?
