I create a template in the CP, check “save as file.” Every time I edit and *save the template in Coda, it will duplicate itself inside the expressionengine CP, but the duplicate will not show up in the file dir via ftp.

I can only get the error to happen on one template group “Search.” See the screen shot to get an idea of the mayhem.

There’s nothing different about these templates opposed to any other templates I have setup. I did upgrade from 2.1.3 to 2.2.2, but I can’t recreate the error in any other template group, or, another *newly* created template group.

The only practical solve I can think of is saving the templates and nuking the whole group to start afresh…

Any idea what the flux is going on here?

just FYI, I deleted the group in the CP, but it wasn’t removed from the database… The CP told me that I couldn’t create a new group with the name “Search” because it already existed - which it wasn’t appearing in the CP.

I went into the DB and dropped the table and it works fine now.
I can’t recreate the error above.

That is odd, I am happy to see you were able to sort it out. Let us know if any other issues crop up by starting a new thread.
