I just updated to EE 2.2.2 Build: date 20110801

My home link in the control panel, “Live look” link after saving an entry and Extensions documentation links broken.

The URL that EE generates for the site home link is http://www.mysite.com/?URL=http://www.mysite.com/

It just gives me a blank page. Any ideas?

    Hi julzmon,

If you delete everything before and including the question mark, does the remaining URL load correctly?

Are you able to load anything on the front pages of your site?

Did this just start happening after your update to 2.2.2? If so, did you notice anything unusual happening during the update?

Kevin do you mean if try the address as URL=http://www.mysite.com/ ? No that does not work.

Yeah my site works just fine.

Not sure exactly if this started with 2.2.2 update but seems like it has. I’m just wondering if there are any setting that I’ve messed around in. Are we supposed to keep the admin.php in our root now? Is this how we edit the site or still go to our mysite.com/admin area?

    Thanks

I’m sorry, I mis-typed. I meant to delete everything before and including the URL=

If you do that, does the resulting page load properly?

Regarding the way to access the CP, the new suggested way to access your CP is through http://www.mysite.com/admin.php, but accessing it through http://www.mysite.com/system will still work just fine. The change was made to make it easier for new installations to set up CP masking.

    julzmon,

It looks like you need to replace your index.php with the one from the EE2.2.2 download.
Having an old one would cause the behavior you are experiencing
