    I’m trying to pull an rss feed and see that mappie comes with the latest EE release.

    Using magpie it displays the url within parenthesis, which is not right. It’s very cluttered and I just want the title displayed. What am I doing wrong?

    {exp:magpie url="http://rss.awebsite.org/" limit="7" refresh="720"}
       <ul>
          {items}
                <li><a href="http://{link}">{title}</a></li>
          {/items}
      </ul>

    Hi auchumilk,

    Just created a blank template and put the following in it and can’t replicate parenthesis around the titles.
    Is your code in a blank template?

    Try the following with the EE feed

    {exp:magpie url="http://expressionengine.com/feeds/rss/devblog/" limit="7" refresh="720"}
       <ul>
          {items}
                <li><a href="http://{link}">{title}</a></li>
          {/items}
      </ul>
    {/exp:magpie}
