EE v2.2.1 - Build: date 20110705

Cannot switch sites at all in CP…

I’ve tried setting cookies to Session ID, Cookie Only, and both. No luck.

What’s going on?

Ok, just updated to 2.2.2.

Still experiencing the issue. I cannot switch MSM sites.

Checked in Chrome and Safari. Cleared cookies… Same issue persists.

Please help?

I think this issue may be impacting some add-ons…

Any idea of this could be related?

An update:

After viewing other threads on MSM issues, I was able to get my CP switching by applying these settings in config.php:

$config['cookie_domain'] = "";
$config['cookie_path'] = "";
$config['cookie_prefix'] = "";
$config['admin_session_type'] = "c";
$config['user_session_type'] = "c";
$config['require_ip_for_login'] = "n";
$config['require_ip_for_posting'] = "n"; 
$config['secure_forms'] = "y"; 

$config['multi_login_sites'] = "http://domain.com/index.php|http://domain.com/site2/index.php";

It appears that Structure is at least related to the issue. I posted some more updates on the Structure thread: https://structure.tenderapp.com/discussions/problems/1313-serious-issues-cant-get-structure-working-again-in-msm-after-error

In this case, Structure is triggering the error.

Thing is, I don’t know if the error being *caused* by EE or Structure.

Glad you were able to get things back into working order again. Since it looks like your MSM issue was resolved with the config settings you posted above, I’ll close this one out. After working with the Structure guys, if you’re able to determine that it’s a bug in EE rather than Structure, open up a related thread and we’ll confirm it with you to get it fixed.
