So, I’ve been hunting through various forum and blog posts on this issue, but I have yet to come up with a satisfactory solution.
The situation I’m in this this:
Our client wants to have a member group that can only make ‘draft’ versions of a live page, but the live page itself should stay up and unmodified until these changes are approved.
I have gotten ‘NSM Publish Plus Workflow’ and enabled revisions on my channel. I also believe that custom status groups might play into this somehow… I seem to have pieces, but cannot quite figure out how to put them together. So far I’ve only been able to (from my ‘editor’ members groups) either make changes publish to the live site, or completely take the page down by changing the status.
Are there any guides or best practices on how to do this?
