Which browsers does EE officially support?

    This question may be related to a resolved thread.

    Thanks to those who responded to my initial question.  The answers left me wondering which browsers does EE officially support for the control panel?

    The EE control panel supports all modern browsers and in terms of IE that is version 7 and up
    Does that help?

    Safari, Mozilla Firefox,Opera, and Internet Explorer 7+ (Least from what i tested on)

    Older Browsers don’t tend to support newer code or formatting used by current browsers. If say a client is using an older unsupported browser like i.e. 6 and lower its good idea to upgrade for security reasons.

    That certainly helps, however, IE7 seems to choke on the file upload field. Is this a common problem?
