    Hi there,
just wondering if there is anyway to control which fields in a channel’s publish form are visible by members?

For example, let say I have 2 members, one is a super admin and one belongs to a member group with different permissions.

On the publish form for a particular channel, the super admin can see and edit all fields. Including some fields which are “Pixel & Tonic Switch” field types.

The other member can see all fields except for the specific P&T Switch fields so they can’t change the default setting.

    Thanks

Sorry - being a bit dozy! This can easily be done (for member groups though not specific members I think) by editing the publishing layout using the toolbar to the right of the publish layout.

    tigerchick,

You are correct in your assumption this feature is for member groups and not individual members
Glad you found the solution.Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions
