All of the sudden a number of entries disappeared from the backend admin section but they still appear on the website.

Any idea what would cause this? It seems to be at random.

If they are showing on the website then they are either in the admin section but not showing then have you tried just looking at all the entries in that weblog instead of filtering them down via category?

Perhaps they are not in that category although somehow still showing on the front end. Might be a coding error on the template somewhere.

Other than that try looking at all the entries in all the weblogs to see if they show up at all.

Last but not least if they are definitely not showing up in the control panel then you could perhaps check via PHPMyAdmin or something like that to see if they actually exist in the database or not.

If they don’t exist there then the only way they would show up on the site would be a cache that exists for that page and so is showing items that no longer exist.

I’ve checked under all the entries.  I’ve also done searches.  The page shouldn’t be cached.

I’ll check the database and see if I can find them and maybe see if there is something different between those that show and those that don’t.  I was hoping there might be some easier answer before getting into that but I guess there isn’t.

Hey Mark, I’ve checked the database and it all looks okay to me.  Could you take a look at the screen shots at the links below?  The left shows one of the entries not showing up and the right shows one that is. I don’t see any problems.  What am I missing??
