    When rendering the empty form errors start to appear in FireBug Console.

    - first error causes EE to be undefined.

    [Break On This Error] var EE = ,“fileuploader”:,“lang”:,“pub…349a0c0b0b9fbc4837096ff7850de7976”};}

    (This error occurs independently of whether there is an Asset field on the form.
    Form used to work OK with EE2.1.3 -LiveUrl, Safecracker File & Assets.)

    I have also tested with a template only containing title and url_title.

    I found notes on the net describing a recent hotfix due to Javascript problems. Raplacements for the three files that possibly were corrupt have been downloaded and fixes applied.

    This seems to be a Javascript failure. But which Javascript file and where ?

    Assets file upload works OK in CP / Publish.

    Hi, icebreaker.

    Can you post your exact SafeCracker form for us to test, please?

    I am only guessing but it seems that saef.js is primarily looking for ‘entryform’ whereas the form id produced by Safecracker is as follows

    form id="publishForm" method="post"

    ...

    Found the original bug thread - part of the fix is to reload debugging preferences.

    I checked in config editor where debug was set to 0. After setting this to 1 Safecracker and LiveUrl is working OK.

    The whole sequence is at:

    https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/detail/16113/

    OK—That closes this issue for me for now.
