Hi Everyone! I have a fairly basic site built, a couple of pages each with a photo gallery. The site was built on my dev server (lets say dev.myserver.com) and its time to move it live, I downloaded the database, went through and replaced dev.myserver.com with the live url (lets say livesite.com), and moved all the files over. When I go to the admin section and view the pages all the images in the photo gallery are there however when I load the page no images show up. I’ve double checked the images were successfully transferred over, and the upload directory in the admin has been fixed. Any ideas what I missed?

    Hi Durg

Have you had a look at this guide: http://ellislab.com/expressionengine/user-guide/installation/moving.html ?

When I first posted I did not have a look at that, but I have since walked through it and updated all the settings.  Still no luck…

    Hi Drug,

Sorry to see you’re having trouble with the move.

I have a few areas to clarify:
    1. You ARE able to access admin.php and login to your Control Panel?
    2. You are UNABLE to see your image galleries on the public facing site?

Can you post a link to the live site? And another thing that has tripped me up in the past, do you have a <base> tag set in your html <head>?

    Best,

    Drug,

I moved this over to the ExpressionEngine 2 Technical Support forum. That’s a better fit while we sort this out.

    Cheers!

I had to look through the settings and everything a few more times but it eventually just worked, so it seem to have been a issue with one of the URLs in the CMS. Thanks!
