Hi, I searched the Forums but I can’t find an answer specific to my question, that relates to adding content from the File Manager into an entry.

I can create a custom field (textedit/textarea) and I can enable the File Manager icon/widget for that field.

When I select the icon/widget I can browse a table (or grid) of thumbnail images but I can’t do anything else with them.

Intuition tells me I should click on the filename (table) or thumbnail (grid) but that simply closes the dialog box with no entry in the relevant data field.

Obviously there’s an Admin setting somewhere but I can’t work out what it might be ... can anyone help me with this?

    Thanks

    Jules

    Hi Jules,

Intuition tells me I should click on the filename (table) or thumbnail (grid) but that simply closes the dialog box with no entry in the relevant data field.

After clicking a thumbnail or filename the large modal disappears and a smaller one replaces it asking you to add some alt text. After completing that the correct img tag is added to your field.

    What browser are you using?

Is this a fresh install or an upgrade?

    Thanks John,

I’m not seeing that on MaxOSX 10.68 + Safari + Firefox (all upgraded to current). My gut tells me OSX has an issue with Javascript right now and certainly I cannot access the functionality you describe on any one of three machines we’re currently using.

This is a 168=>213(=>214b)=>221 upgrade site.

    Hi, Jules.

Can you try this with a local install and a different browser such as Firefox?
