I’ve had a request to look at doing a Chinese version of one of my EE2 sites.
Just checked on the language packs and it seems that most of them are still for the 1.6 branch.
Just wondering what the deal is with this? There’s a hint that something might be happening with the way it works but not much else.
Is it just a do-it-yourself situation?

Language packs are provided by the community, it may be that there just hasn’t been anyone who wanted a particular language pack.

If you do decide to tackle this yourself, you can also share it with the community by sending the files to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and we’ll post them for everyone.
