    Hi you all,
May name is Amadeu Sanz and I’m the new responsible for the three people team that has to manage the site www.intersindical.org. We are a little teacher’s union located in València (Spain) and we need a total update to our old site.
I have some questions to be answered before we decide to choose EE as the system to renew our web.
First, we need to confirm that, as we think, this is possible to do fully in Expression Engine.  I draw an scheme with the structure of the site and attached it to the post–I hope it’s not confusing: It should be a main site (intersindical.org) and some sub-sites linked from it (stapv.intersindical.org, intersindical.org/stepv, stas.intersindical.org, all these are actual domains): some are folders inside intersindical.org, while others are sub-domains.
We want that the articles from our writers to appear in different places all over the differents sites: sometimes, it should be a “Top story”  in intersindical.org/stpv/primaria that appear as a “Short new” in stas.interindical.org and as a “Very very short new” in the footer of any other page. If you can take a look at the draw, the lines in the scheme try to represent that.
Second, the language that we use in our communication is Catalan, which hasn’t a language module in EE. Tough we are fluid in Spanish, I would like to know if it’s possible to customize the EE in our language and, if it is, how laborious or difficult it could be.

Excuse me for my poor English and thank you in advance for your attention and support.
    Regards,
    Amadeu

Hi Amadeu and welcome to the forums 😊

With our Multiple Site Manager you can manage all these sites from one control panel and you can share content between all the sites

It is possible to create a Catalan language pack yes. You would basically need to copy system/expressionengine/language/english and rename it to catalan so you also have a folder like so system/expressionengine/language/catalan. You would then need to translate all the keys in those files. Once done you can switch the default language of your control panel to Catalan.

    Does that help?

    Sounds good.

Once you finish that task, and are willing to share it with the rest of the community, you’d send it to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and we’d host the language files on your behalf.

If anything else comes up, please do let us know in a new thread..
