    Hi,

I’ve seen this problem crop up a few times in the forum, but I can’t seem to fix it! I am currently unable to see any thumbnails for the images stored in my upload directory. The files are being recognised as they show up in the file list, but no thumbnails are being generated. I have checked the following:

    - Upload path
    - Permissions on the images, uploads, new upload directory and _thumbs directories (all set to 777)
    - EE server wizard, and all requirements were met
    - I’ve synchronized the upload directory and all files are being recognised

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Also, I have tried adding an image from the file browser in a custom file field, and the generated url to the thumbnail does work, the image just doesn’t show on the publish page or the file browser.

    Hi,

Are you masking the control panel inside a folder at all? If so, you _don’t_ want to put the folder name in your file upload prefs.

    Thanks,
    Paul.
